Engineered for extreme driving conditions, heavy payloads, and critical safety standards in urban transit corridors.
Mumbai, as India's financial capital and a massive logistical hub, demands robust and reliable automotive infrastructure. The Mumbai-Pune industrial corridor is home to some of the country's largest commercial vehicle fleets, logistics operators, and automotive assembly lines. The local environment presents unique challenges: heavy monsoon seasons, high humidity, stop-and-go traffic, and steep Western Ghats terrains. These factors accelerate wear on braking components, making high-performance Brake Proportioning Valves and Load Sensing Proportioning Valves (LSPV) critical for vehicle stability and safety.
For fleet operators and distributors in Maharashtra, sourcing components that resist corrosion and maintain precise hydraulic pressure distribution under varying load conditions is not just a matter of performance—it is a regulatory and safety necessity. Our products are engineered to withstand these harsh operating conditions, ensuring optimal rear-brake modulation to prevent premature wheel lockup during sudden stops on wet roads.
How modern braking technology is evolving to meet the demands of safety, efficiency, and intelligence.
While modern passenger vehicles utilize Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) integrated with ABS, mechanical Load Sensing Proportioning Valves remain indispensable for light commercial vehicles (LCVs), pickup trucks, and regional transport fleets due to their reliability, cost-effectiveness, and zero-power dependency.
The global automotive industry is shifting towards lightweight materials. Our R&D team is actively incorporating high-strength aluminum alloys and advanced anodizing techniques to reduce component weight while enhancing pressure resistance and service life.
With global supply chains demanding absolute transparency, our manufacturing process complies fully with IATF 16949:2016. Every single brake proportioning valve undergoes 100% high-and-low pressure leakage testing before dispatch.

A deep dive into hydraulic pressure modulation, load sensing dynamics, and safety engineering.
During deceleration, a vehicle's dynamic weight shifts forward. This increases the traction limit of the front tires while simultaneously reducing the traction limit of the rear tires. If equal hydraulic pressure were applied to both front and rear brakes during a hard stop, the rear wheels would lock up prematurely, causing the vehicle to spin and lose directional control. This is where the Brake Proportioning Valve becomes critical.
The valve functions by allowing pressure to build up equally in both front and rear circuits up to a specific threshold, known as the split point. Once this pressure threshold is reached, the valve restricts the rate of pressure increase to the rear brakes, ensuring they receive a smaller proportion of the master cylinder's output compared to the front brakes. This ratio is defined as the valve's slope.
While fixed proportioning valves operate on a static split point and slope, Load Sensing Proportioning Valves (LSPV) adapt dynamically to the vehicle's payload. A mechanical linkage connects the LSPV (mounted on the chassis) to the rear axle. As the vehicle is loaded, the suspension compresses, altering the linkage angle and adjusting the valve's internal spring tension. This shifts the split point upward, allowing higher hydraulic pressure to reach the rear brakes when the vehicle is carrying heavy loads, maximizing braking efficiency without risking lockup when empty.
